Editor introduction

Dr. Xiaogang Chen served as the Director of Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Psychiatry and Mental Health, the Head of Library and Information Department, Institute of Mental Health, Central South University, and the ENIGMA Clinical High Risk working group member.

His work was continually supported by NIH, the Major International Joint Research Program of China, the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Major State Basic Research Development Program of China (973 Program). Dr. Chen was awarded Scientific and Technological Progress (Hunan province, the second prize) twice. He has contributed to over 70 SCI-indexed papers in reputable journals (e.g., JAMA Psychiatry, Molecular Psychiatry, Schizophrenia Bulletin, Science Bulletin) and one book.
